A Perfect Blend of Relaxing and Memories – April 2022 Wrap

April was a beautiful month. I really enjoyed getting a chance to relax and take some time for myself. After three back-to-back single releases, I needed to take a break before things pick back up again in May. Despite April being a pretty chill month, there were still unforgettable moments.

My Debut Performance at Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh

I’m so grateful I got to play at Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh for the first time on April 7. Getting support from my hometown means everything to me. Ever since my magical moment on Bubba Show in January, I’ve felt seen by my hometown, and now, I’m getting more amazing opportunities.

I had such a blast playing at Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh. You can read more about it and watch a highlights video from my set in this blog post.

My Amazing Studio Session at the Vault

I went back to my second home, the Vault Recording Studio, on April 23 for a ten-hour session. Studio days bring me so much happiness, and this was truly an amazing session.

I loved getting to work on two of my EP songs, “Afterthought” and “Follow My Compass,” and some other projects that I have to keep secret for now. I put together a blog post from the session, where I share so many details. You can check it out here.

Grateful for Airplay

Even though I didn’t release a new song this month or do any interviews, my music still got lots of love on radio. I’m forever grateful for the support.

Also, “Homecoming Queen” is still in the Top 30 Current Country on MJM Strategies Radio, and it climbed to number 19. I can’t believe it’s in the top 20, alongside some of the biggest hits in country music at the moment.

I’ve gotten lots of love from Heart of Indie Radio, too. In April, both “Across the Pond” and “Four Leaf Clover” climbed to number 9on the top 10. I’m so thankful for these chart placements and can’t wait to see what comes next.

Every time one of my songs gets played, it’s just as special as the first time. Forever blessed for all of the support my friends in radio have shown me.

Ready for My Next Chapter

I can’t believe that the lead single off of my upcoming EP releases in May. The song is called “You Get What You Give,” and it’s my most sassy song yet. I’m ready for my next chapter. I feel like I’ve learned so much from Dear Diary, and I can’t wait to see what the It Is What It Is chapter holds.

May is going to be a fabulous month. I already have quite a few interviews scheduled. I’m also going back to the studio for another session, and my birthday is on May 30. On top of that, I have some surprises up my sleeve that I’m bursting to share. I’m glad I was able to take a much needed break this month, but now, it’s time to get back at it in May.
