My Nominations for the 10th Annual Josie Music Awards

I’m beyond excited to share that I have received three nominations for the 10th Annual Josie Music Awards. This is my third year in a row as a nominee, and since there were over 75,000 submissions this year and only 3 percent got nominations, I’m truly blown away by the fact that I’m up for three awards. I’m going to celebrate by sharing what each of my categories means to me.

My Nominations for the 10th Annual Josie Music Awards

First, “Passive Aggressive” received a nomination for Songwriter Achievement. This is my first time being nominated in this category, and I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect song for this recognition. “Passive Aggressive” is such a bold, fierce, and unapologetically honest pop-rock song that I had the most fun writing and recording. Since this category recognizes songwriters, it is such an honor to be included as a nominee with “Passive Aggressive.” It would be a dream come true to win this award.

Next, I’m up for Musician of the Year (Piano/Keyboard) for the second year in a row. Since I began my musical journey as a pianist, this nomination means everything to me. I absolutely love composing accompaniments for my piano ballads, and all three songs I released during the eligibility period for the awards feature me playing piano: “If I Die Young,” “Tinsel Heart,” and “Kind Heart.” I’m so grateful for this nomination and can’t wait to continue bringing my love for piano into my songwriting journey.

Last but not least, Write on Track is up for Media Company of the Year (Podcast/Radio Show). This is my second year in a row being considered for this award as well. When I started this show in 2021, I never dreamed it would receive award recognition one day. Getting to chat with others in the music industry has been such a gift. I love hosting Write on Track and can’t thank the JMAs enough for this nomination.

This year, I’m being recognized as a songwriter, musician, and podcaster at the Josie Music Awards. I feel so blessed.
