It’s summertime, so of course I have a story published in a summer-themed anthology.

I’m delighted that my young adult meet-cute, “Shorely Yours,” found a home in Dream A Little Dream With Me by KissMet Quarterly.

A Peek Into “Shorely Yours”

“Shorely Yours” features a photographer protagonist, songwriter love interest, and a romantic twist on a message in a bottle.

Marina has dreams of discovering the world beyond her boring homeland, Cork Island, so when she sees a bejeweled bottle floating on the waves while she’s taking pictures in the sea, she believes it’s a treasure just for her. But as she’s getting the bottle, a wave arcs over her head and forces her underwater. She’s moments away from drowning when she’s rescued by Brennon, a songwriter. Marina is embarrassed about almost dying over a bottle and being saved by a cute guy, but soon, she finds pure happiness on the island she finally embraces as her home.
