2026 ISSA Awards Finalist
I’m a finalist in six categories for the 2026 ISSA Awards!
There were over 73,000 votes, which blows my mind. My Butterflies definitely showed up for me because the competition was fierce. This is my fourth year in a row as a finalist, and my heart is so full.

My Six Categories for the 2026 ISSA Awards
To celebrate being a finalist in six categories, I’m going to share what each means to me.
First, I’m up for Vocalist of the Year. Ever since I released my debut single in 2019, I’ve focused a ton on growing as a singer. I used to struggle with confidence, but now, I have a blast while recording in the studio and performing live. Even though I’ve gotten to a place of embracing my voice, I still have lots of room to improve. To me, it’s not about being the best. It’s about continuing to become the artist I’m meant to be. I’m the only person in the world who has my voice, and I think that’s magical.
Second, I’m a finalist for Rising Star. When I began my songwriting journey, I had no idea how far I would go in such a short period of time. I went from stumbling into the unknown to celebrating accomplishments and reaching milestones I only thought I could achieve in my wildest dreams. Each time I write a new song, prepare for my next release, or take a leap, I shoot for the stars. Anything is possible if I continue to believe in myself.
Third, “If Your Heart Eclipses Mine” is a finalist for Single of the Year. I can’t put into words how much this means to me. “If Your Heart Eclipses Mine” is a vulnerable piano ballad that explores love at first sight through the lens of fated soulmates and the metaphor of an eclipse. It’s one of my favorite songs, from the lyrics and layered harmonies to the accompaniment. Winning Single of the Year with “If Your Heart Eclipses Mine” would be such a dream come true.
Fourth, I’m up for Musician of the Year. I’ve played classical piano since I was ten years old, long before I started songwriting. Now, I find it so special that I can go from practicing one of my favorite pieces by Debussy to composing an accompaniment for a new ballad. Piano will always hold a place in my heart, so being recognized for my musicianship means everything to me.
Fifth, I’m a finalist for Emerging Artist. Since my debut single, I’ve released tons of original songs, two covers, two pop albums, and a multi-genre EP. Soon, I’ll release a country-focused EP. I’m also writing and recording my next project, which will be pop. Even though I’ve released so much music since 2019, I’m still just getting started.
And sixth, Write on Track is a finalist for Radio Station/Podcast of the Year. This month, the podcast will turn five years old, which is so wild to me. I can’t believe I’ve hosted Write on Track for that long already. Recently, I passed two-hundred episodes, and the show is about to hit 15,000 total listens. Giving back to the music industry is important to me, so I love getting the chance to chat with fabulous guests and allow them to share their stories.
Thank you to the International Singer Songwriters Association, my Butterflies who always show up for me, and everyone who has supported me on my journey. I’m honored to be a finalist in the 2026 ISSA Awards, and my fingers are crossed to win another gorgeous crystal this summer.
