Wow, September was such a fun month. I had some truly memorable experiences that I’ll never forget. Here are all the highlights
Heart of Indie Radio’s International Indie Summer 2021
During Labor Day weekend, my home station, Heart of Indie Radio, put together a fabulous virtual event that celebrated independent artists from all around the world. I had the absolute honor of doing an interview and performance for the event. International Indie Summer 2021 was so special, and I’m already looking forward to next year’s event.
Huge thank you to Captain Eddie for allowing me to share my interview and performance of “Since I Met You” from International Indie Summer 2021 on my YouTube channel. Check it out below!
My Crazy Women Country Interview
I’ve done so many interviews this year, and I can honestly say my interview with Crazy Women Country was one of the most fun. Donna and Paula have hearts of gold, and I had a blast. They always end interviews with rapid fire questions, and let’s just say I was a little dysfunctional. There are so many laughs and golden moments in this interview. I can’t thank Donna and Paula enough for having me!
Live Music in Kirksville
I got to play in Kirksville again in September, and it was so much fun. First, I played at Sip Downtown on 9/11. It was special being able to play that night. During my set, I performed “God Bless the USA.”
The following weekend, I played at Depot Inn & Suites on Friday. I always love performing there. Check out my live acoustic performance of my latest single, “Find Love.”
Finally, I wrapped up by playing at Sip Downtown again on Saturday.
I’m going back to Kirksville for Thanksgiving, so hopefully, I’ll be able to get out and play again in November.
Dear Diary is Coming
I spent most of September doing a ton of preparation for Dear Diary. I’ve released five singles since launching my music career, but so much goes into an album release. I’ve been working on so much behind the scenes, from ordering merch and CDs to lining up interviews and other press opportunities. I can’t wait for the album to release on October 15. I’ve been working on this album for two years, and it’s finally just around the corner.
I love doing monthly wraps because they allow me to really take a step back and reflect on all my incredible moments each month. September was definitely a fabulous one. Here’s to October and the release of Dear Diary!
