Nashville, “Snow on Christmas Day,” and More – November 2021 Wrap

Wow, November was such a special month. I can’t believe I finally went to Nashville for the first time. Also, I released my original Christmas song, “Snow on Christmas Day,” got some fabulous press, and more. I’m so excited to share all of the highlights.

My First Trip to Nashville

I’m still smiling from my first trip to Nashville. It was more magical than I ever dreamed.

I had so many fun adventures when I was there. During the first few days, I did a handful of tours, stepped into the circle at the Grand Ole Opry for a special photo, spent some time on Broadway, and met up with friends.

Then, I attended Andrea Stolpe’s songwriting retreat during the week. I can’t put into words how unbelievable the retreat was. I met so many talented writers and felt more inspired than I have in a while. After learning from Andrea for over a year, it was so special finally getting to meet her and attend the retreat in Music City.

Also, I went to the CMA Awards. I’m still not over that experience. It has been my dream for so long to attend an awards show. I never imagined my first one would be the CMA Awards in Nashville. I had such a fun time at the awards, and this is a night I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

I wrote a blog post about my trip with all of my adventures and lots of photos. You can check it out here.

The Release of “Snow on Christmas Day”

On November 26, I released my second original Christmas song, “Snow on Christmas Day.” I had so much fun writing and recording this song. I wrote it on Christmas Day last year, so I’m so beyond happy I’m finally able to share it with the world.

“Snow on Christmas Day” is so close to my heart. I love being home for the holidays and seeing the snow during winter. In Pittsburgh, sometimes we get snow on Christmas Day, and sometimes, we don’t. When we do, it makes the holiday season extra special.

Also, I shared the studio vlog from recording the song. I always have the most fun in the studio with Bob and Luke, and recording this song was such a blast. When I wrote the song, I knew I wanted it to be super festive and country-pop, and I loved bringing it to life.

The November Press and Interviews

First, BuzzMusic shared a beautiful spotlight article for Dear Diary. It’s so special seeing my album being referred to as a sonic journal. Also, being known as someone who embodies courage and fearlessness is very rewarding. You can read the article here.

Next, November Brought a fabulous podcast episode. It was such an honor being on the Sunday Night Army. Jakub asked me all about “Will I Ever,” Dear Diary, and more. You can listen to the episode on Spotify and all other podcast platforms.

Also, I did one of my favorite written interviews this month. Loryn from Let’s Link It Up asked me some awesome questions. I share the story behind Dear Diary, which singer I’d love to collaborate with, the biggest lesson the music industry has taught me, what I have coming in 2022, and something people would be surprised to learn about me. Read the fantastic interview here.

Ahead of the release of “Snow on Christmas Day,” I caught up with COOL TOP20 for a release talk. I share the inspiration behind the song, my favorite memories from creating the song, and what I hope this release will achieve. I always love doing interviews with COOL TOP20, and you can read my release talk for “Snow on Christmas Day” here.

Next, I did a festive interview with Fierce & Fabulous Revolution. I always love catching up with Jess. Her support means the world to me. In the interview, I talk all about “Snow on Christmas Day,” holiday traditions, my favorite festive memories, and more. Read the interview here.

Last but not least, I did a fantastic interview with the Creatives. I had a blast talking about “Snow on Christmas Day,” Dear Diary, “Will I Ever,” growing up in the Pittsburgh music scene, and more. Read the interview here.

I’m so blessed for every interview and feature this month. The year is coming to a close, so press is starting to wind down. I can’t wrap my head around all of the support I’ve recieved this year from such incredible people in the industry. It’s truly been a great year for my music and getting myself out there.

Two Years of “Into Focus”

I can’t believe my debut single, “Into Focus,” turned two years old this month. I still love this song so much. It’s forever a special one to me.

Since releasing “Into Focus,” I’ve grown and learned so much. I decided to make a video, sharing five pieces of advice I gathered over the past two years.

I’m so proud of how far I’ve come in just two years. Here’s to many more!

November was full of so many great memories. I got to go to Nashville, and I released “Snow on Christmas Day.” Also, I had a nice little break spending Thanksgiving in Missouri with my family. I have so much to be thankful for, and I’m forever blessed for all of the memories I made this month. I’m looking forward to what December has in store for me. I can’t believe the year is almost over. 2021 has been full of so many amazing moments I’ll always hold close to my heart. Here’s to ending the year on a high note in December.
