Mid-Summer Moments – July 2021 Wrap

July flew by. To be honest, this month was pretty chill, and looking back, I’m grateful for the time I had to relax because the rest of 2021 is going to be extremely busy. Still, I have some fabulous July highlights.

Kicking Off July with Live Music in Kirksville

I was in Kirksville, Missouri at the end of June and into July. I started off the month with two gigs.

On July 1, I played a two-hour set at Sip Downtown. This was such a fun night, and I put together a little video from the gig.

Then, on July 2, I played at Depot Inn & Suites. I did my first set there last month, and it was so much fun to play there again. Below are some videos from the memorable night.

I’m going back to Kirksville in September, and I already have some nights booked to play again. I’m so excited!

The “Will I Ever” Studio Vlog

Studio days are literally my favorite days. When I recorded “Will I Ever” back in March, I filmed the whole session. I put together a studio vlog to share the whole experience. I love studio vlogs because I can relive such fun and magical memories over and over again. Because “Will I Ever” is such a piece of my heart and the first single off my album, I knew I had to make the vlog. This is definitely one of my favorite recording sessions so far.

“Will I Ever Charted Number 2 on Revival Radio’s New Music Radio Top 40

On July 4, my holiday started with a fireworks display of my own. Since “Will I Ever” was released, it’s been bouncing around the New Music Top 40 on Revival Radio. When I was listening to the countdown on the Fourth of July, I literally lost my mind for a few seconds when I heard “Will I Ever” climb to number 2. This is absolutely wild, and I’m so blessed for all the love this song is receiving.

All the Airplay

I’m so grateful for every show and station continuing to support me and play my music. One of the most incredible feelings is hearing my music on the radio, and it feels so special every time.

I’d love to acknowledge those who made my July even more fantastic. First, I couldn’t feel more blessed for the support Heart of Indie Radio continues to show me. The team truly has my heart. Special thank you to MJM Strategies Radio for spinning “LA Will Wait for Me” on the 60 Minute Country Jam on July 22 alongside mainstream country stars. This was such a huge surprise, and I’m still not over it. Also, my friend, Paul Miles, is still playing my music on the Unsigned Show, and Steve Garnett is showing me so much support on his New Music Radio Show on Revival Radio.

I’m looking forward to what next month has to offer for my music on radio. I’m forever grateful!

Reflecting on July and What’s to Come

July was such an incredible month. Though it wasn’t as busy as the past few months, I have so many memories to look back on. Also, this month gave me the chance to relax a little. So much music is coming the rest of the year, and now, I feel even more ready for my upcoming releases. I already know August is going to be another exciting month with the release of my new single, “Find Love,” so I’m really looking forward to it. Here’s to making more music memories!
