“I Hope You Know You’re Lucky” Live at the MOP Top Prize Party

I’m so honored “I Hope You Know You’re Lucky” was voted number 2 on the Music of Pittsburgh (MOP) Society Top 40 for 2022. Tonight, I was invited to play at the MOP Top Prize Party, and it was so much fun.

“I Hope You Know You’re Lucky” Live at the MOP Top Prize Party

I’ve played “I Hope You Know You’re Lucky” live since I wrote it in 2020, and even in those early days, I knew this was a special song. Only two months after it was finally released on my EP, It Is What It Is, I got the opportunity to play it during a fabulous event that celebrated Pittsburgh music. There’s nothing like playing a number-two song in front of Pittsburgh musicians and others who came to show their support.

I’m so glad I filmed my performance of “I Hope You Know You’re Lucky.” I hope you enjoy watching it.

I can’t thank the Music of Pittsburgh Society enough for giving me this opportunity. It was magical having my music recognized in such a way.

Memories from the MOP Top Prize Party

Along with playing “I Hope You Know You’re Lucky,” the MOP Top Prize Party gave me the chance to meet other Pittsburgh musicians. I enjoyed listening to the other artists’ songs and chatting with them during the event. It was incredible seeing everyone come together to support each other.

Also, after I performed, I got a certificate from the Music of Pittsburgh Society to celebrate my chart placement. Since I landed in the top three, I was given a gift card as well. Getting the chance to play “I Hope You Know You’re Lucky” live was magical enough, but the MOP Society going above and beyond shows that they have hearts of gold.

Jessica Bella is the star who invited me to play, and I loved meeting her. She’s such a talented musician too, and I can’t wait to see how our paths cross in the future.

I’m all about taking photos, so here’s another one of me, Jessica, and Ian, who also plays a massive role in the MOP Society.

I’m so grateful I was invited to play “I Hope You Know You’re Lucky” during the MOP Top Prize Party. I can’t wait to see what comes next for this special song. Also, I’m looking forward to making more memories with the MOP Society and other talented Pittsburgh musicians.
