My Nominations for the 11th Annual Josie Music Awards
I’m over the moon to share that I received four nominations for the 11th Annual Josie Music Awards!
Last year, I won my first Josie Music Award in the Songwriter Achievement category with “Passive Aggressive,” which I wrote all about in this blog post.

Having four nominations is extra special since this is my fourth year in a row as a nominee. Only 2.8 percent of around 86,000 submissions made the nominations list. This blows my mind. To celebrate, I’m going to share what each of my nominations means to me.
My Four Nominations for the 11th Annual Josie Music Awards

First, I have two nominations for Songwriter Achievement. Since I won in this category last year, I’m beyond honored to be recognized again with two of my unreleased songs, “If Your Heart Eclipses Mine” and “Invisible Tiara.” Both of these songs will be on my upcoming fairy-tale inspired EP, Happy Ever After Doesn’t Last Forever, and “If Your Heart Eclipses Mine” will be a single. I have always seen myself as a songwriter first, so I’m so grateful that “If Your Heart Eclipses Mine” and “Invisible Tiara” are being considered for the Songwriter Achievement Award. It would be a dream come true to win another plaque with one of these songs.
Next, I’m nominated for Musician of the Year (Piano/Keys) JMA Alumni. Since I started playing classical music again this year, being nominated in this category means the absolute world to me. Also, “If Your Heart Eclipses Mine” is a piano ballad, and I loved composing the accompaniment. Since I was ten years old, piano has been such a huge part of my life, and winning this award soon after I returned to my classical music roots would be magical.
Last but not least, Write on Track received a nomination for Podcast/Music Radio Show. Since May 2021, I have consistently released new episodes every other Sunday, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Hosting this show is a gift. I love chatting with others in the music industry and hearing their stories. Also, I’m almost at two-hundred episodes. I seriously can’t believe I’m close to reaching this milestone. The podcast wouldn’t be what it is without my fabulous guests and all the wonderful connections I have made along the way. I’m very grateful for this nomination and can’t wait to keep sharing unforgettable conversations on Write on Track.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Josie Music Awards for my four nominations, and massive thank you to all the individuals who took time out of their busy schedules to evaluate the submissions. I’m forever grateful and honored to be a nominee again, and I’m manifesting winning another award this fall.
